Hand-signed in ink by Andy Warhol along the right margin and signed in ink by Russel Means on lower-left of recto

Only a few on these posters were signed by both Warhol and Means thus making this poster rare and collectible.

Depicting prominent Indian Rights activist Russell Means, this original poster by Andy Warhol is one of three different variations - red, blue, and black - made by Warhol in 1976 and 1977 for the Ace Gallery of Los Angeles.

Warhol painted 18 portraits of Means during this period, a subject who was in line with Warhol's efforts to glamorize the marginalized in our society.
