Julian Opie lives and works in London, UK, and works in varied media: painting, drawing, sculpture, and film. He is best known for his simple graphic portraits and animated walking figures in black line drawing with minimal added detailing. We love the way Opie captures a range of subjects in his thickly outlined silhouettes, with careful attention to modern life.
