The artist works mainly at night when creating his street art, seeing himself as a ‘hacker’ of public spaces spreading his mosaic ‘viruses' across the world. We love that Invader is passionate about making his art accessible to all walks of life, installing his artworks on the street instead of purely in galleries or museums.
Invader began creating his mosaics in the 1990s, starting in Paris and then expanding to 31 other cities in France. The artist has since carried out multiple projects in other countries, including Hong Kong, New York City and Los Angeles.
