Duwensee’s interest in typography was sparked during his foundation course at Ware College in the early 1970s. He went on to study Typographic Design at the London College of Print, and Graphic Design at the Royal College of Art. Art has always been central to Duwensee’s career and he has over 45 years of experience as a brand designer, specialising in package design. He was the lead designer on designs for Lucky Strike, Persil, Comfort, and Tymbark, a major Polish soft drinks brand. Duwensee is now focused on graphic art and screen printing. His artworks begin life on an idea-based platform, before being developed on his iMac and made into screen prints. We love how Duwensee's substantial experience designing packaging can be detected in his eye-catching and vibrant artworks, which make you stop and look.
